Les Cigales sur Moliets-Et-Maa

The tents were basic, and since it was the end of the season, the food was limited. Clothes got damp. Drying facilities were limited to dryers, and there were no rooms. Wi-Fi was only available in the common room.

We have visited every year in a campervan for more than 10 years and the campsite is consistently welcoming and good value for money. You can pick your own secluded pitch and the toilets, showers and washing up areas are clean but you need to bring your own toilet paper. Plenty of trees, red squirrels and birds. Often a large group of youngsters at the surf camp on site, but they are friendly and no trouble. The walk to the beach has been refurbished this year and it has injected a new lease of life into the area. The beach is gorgeous however, the sea is really not suitable for children with huge crashing waves, strong currents and a steep shelf.

Wide selection of pitches for camper vans, mobile homes, and tents. Close to the Velodysée, about 2km away. Friendly welcome.

We were allowed to check in early thanks to the very friendly manager. The location and beach are super family-friendly. We'd be happy to return.

Nice campground. Very large, and ours was quite far from the restrooms. Large pitches. The ocean is quite close, although the map seemed closer. The campground overlooks the surf beach, which is plentiful. The restrooms are clean, but without toilet paper. Overall, a plus, and the price is also reasonable.

A perfectly located campsite for visiting Moliets beach. Very spacious pitches (we were there with a campervan). The sanitary facilities are outdated and not always clean. All the shops you might need are nearby. The campsite itself doesn't have much to offer. It's great that dogs are welcome.

First time at a campsite and the interaction with the manager at reception was disappointing. He's unpleasant. Mobile home rental, great location, close to shops and the beach, but a major drawback: no starter kit for the mobile home provided, not even a roll of toilet paper. Washing machine broken at the entrance. Shared shower and toilet very dirty; more regular cleaning would be appreciated and especially essential. Finally, there are no services, activities, or swimming pool. This is not worthy of a 3-star hotel. A 2-star is more than enough.

Well-located campsite, very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating management. The pitches are quite large, mostly sand, sometimes lacking in levelness, but overall OK. It's quiet in the evening, enjoyable. There's a completely separate surf camp feel. The only problem is the parking at the entrance when you arrive after 11 p.m. You have to get up before 9 a.m. the next day to remove your car, or you'll be fined by the municipal police. The town hall could work things out with the campsite, which is a shame. There are no activities within the campsite, but Ocean Avenue is full of activities. In conclusion, it's a great place for beginner surfers; the beach is very flat and access to the water is far away, ideal for small children; the Huchet current doesn't give the water the most beautiful color.

A superb experience at Camping Les Cigales! We stayed there for a week, with plenty of flexibility thanks to the convenient location and interesting facilities (especially the padel courts). I highly recommend it; the new Huchets accommodations make the week even more relaxing!
