The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were almost too attentive at times, which sometimes made me feel a little uncomfortable, as if I were being watched a lot during the meal.
The manager, on the other hand, seemed less welcoming, which somewhat detracted from the experience.
The meal was decent, but some elements didn't seem very fresh. The biscuits served with the ice cream looked a bit stale, the mashed potatoes tasted more like store-bought than homemade, and the fish was slightly overcooked.
I did, however, appreciate that they agreed to adapt the dish to my request. Overall, I found the prices a bit high and the restaurant a little overrated considering the quality of the food.

Excellent cuisine, refined and delicate, a feast for both the palate and the eyes. Impeccable service and attentive, friendly staff. Very reasonable prices considering the quality. We look forward to our next stay in Montalivet to return.

While passing through Montalivet, we had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived. The service was attentive, professional, and efficient, with a smiling and responsive team. As for the meal, it was delicious: flavorful dishes, beautifully presented and prepared with high-quality ingredients. A truly wonderful experience that we highly recommend.

During the Montalivet baccalaureate show, we went to eat there. A very nice restaurant... A very warm welcome from both the waiters and the owners. They were attentive to their customers, and with a group like ours of 13 people, which wasn't easy, they were always available. The menu was very appealing. The dishes and desserts were very generous and, above all, delicious. We'll definitely be back!
