I had dinner at La Corne d'Aurochs with my daughter in July. A hidden gem, a small, traditional Lyonnais bistro in the Crêt de Roch district. The menu was interesting, the service impeccable, and the presentation of the dishes meticulous. The revisited beef tartare was delicious. A touch of Lyon in Saint-Étienne, a great place for a romantic dinner for two.

We met two people who are very dedicated and passionate about their work! The hand-cut steak tartare is excellent, as are the chichoumeille (a new discovery!) and the homemade fries. We appreciated their wine recommendations. We highly recommend it!

I received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The service was attentive and courteous throughout the evening. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, the setting elegant and well-decorated. The price was very reasonable. I didn't have to wait long before being seated. The establishment was very clean.

21/09/2026: A truly excellent traditional restaurant! With a very pleasant owner and a warm, authentic atmosphere, this chip shop offers a simple yet delicious menu. We ate very well and even had seconds of the chocolate cake, which was superb! All this at very reasonable prices. A must-try in Saint-Étienne. Thank you for a wonderful evening! ❤️❤️
