If you like French croissants and pain au chocolat this is the place to go for Brits abroad staying nearby Simple, delicious and served with a smile - plus very well priced you would not believe. Takeaway or eat in with some bar seats. Across the road are some benches in a small green area where they were eagerly devoured.

A wonderful discovery at Les Doigts de Jean Bart pastry shop. The chocolate specialties are absolutely delicious, both milk and dark chocolate. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the chocolate is of high quality, and the pastries are as beautiful as they are indulgent. A true delight for chocolate lovers. I highly recommend it! Please note: closed Mondays and Tuesdays!

Delicious. Very pleasant tea room

I ordered a strawberry tart for 6 people. It was very good. The presentation was impeccable for Easter Sunday, decorated with small chocolates. 6 generous slices. I recommend it.

We were a little disappointed. Visiting the beautiful city of Dunkirk, we decided to discover all its specialties, including Jean Bart's Fingers. We headed to this pastry shop, arriving late in the afternoon, and there wasn't much left in the display case... well, we were able to buy a few Jean Bart's Fingers, not to everyone's taste, because we arrived too late according to the saleswoman... They're good little cakes, that's for sure, but at €2.70 each, they're a bit pricey considering their size.

The cake was very good, the cream was delicious. But the macarons were hard, not good at all.
