La P'tite Fabrique sur Dunkerque

Our first visit to France, our first time in a boulangerie. A very nice gentleman sold us high-quality goods. Thank you so much! My children will always remember this.

The pastries have a very rustic look, but once I got home... I saw the butter on the bag, and I felt the flaky texture of my croissant under my fingers, and I knew I was in for a treat! One of the best croissants I've ever eaten. Delicious layers, perfectly crispy on the outside and meltingly soft inside. And everything we tried was fantastic: raisin pastries, pink praline pastries, chocolate pastries, apple turnovers, and pain au chocolat... I haven't tried their bread yet, but I can tell you that this little bakery is a gem of craftsmanship! In short, I can't stop thinking about going back for another croissant 🥐👀

Delicious fresh croissants and baguettes. I got two brioches with chocolate and sugar/raisins; they were really delicious!

The sourdough bread is excellent, the products are of high quality, and the lemon and chocolate tarts are exquisite! A sure bet in Malo!

Here, the food is artisanal and authentic, and it's truly appealing. The waitress knows her products; I asked for something wheat-free, and she directed me to a muesli—I should mention that it's for someone who isn't celiac.

Very friendly staff who were patient with my level of French. Not too busy. Excellent baguettes and other bread loaves (they even had spelt).

On a weekend trip to Dunkirk, I just tried this bakery near my rental... 4 croissants, 1 baguette, and 1 bread pudding... wow, the best croissant I've ever eaten!

Having a small boat at Grand Large, for the past few years I've been going to the small bakery to get my bread whenever the weather allows us to sail a bit. The welcome is always warm, and enjoying the perfectly crusty baguette on board the boat is a real treat.
