We arrived in Sévérac-le-Château quite by chance during our trip across France, and we discovered one of those wonderful places that leaves a lasting impression. We enjoyed a delicious cheese platter, but what touched us most was the kindness and warmth of the welcome. A simple, authentic, and friendly place where you truly feel welcome. Thank you for transforming a simple stop on our journey into a lovely travel memory! ❤️

A very pleasant surprise! We didn't know where to eat that Saturday evening after the Templar race in Millau. Staying in a small hamlet near Severac, we stumbled upon this place quite by chance! The owner gave us a very warm welcome, the local pétanque club is right there in the restaurant, adding to the authentic atmosphere, and above all, the food was delicious!! Homemade fries, excellent local meat! All at a very reasonable price. And as a bonus, they gave us tips for our visit to the medieval old town the next day! I highly recommend it :)

September 2026. We stopped by twice. The first time I had a whole duck breast for €18.50; the second time I had the daily special, which was very good. The owner and staff are very friendly. It's worth a visit.

We had a lovely time; we were welcomed with warmth and humor. The food was simple but good and plentiful. A special thank you from the Duchess and her husband for allowing our Australian Shepherd on the terrace.

06/09/2026: Third visit. A wonderful experience. Excellent cuisine. The chef prepares his dishes with delicacy and finesse. Impeccable service. 5/5 value for money. Reservations recommended. We'll be back! 🙂
23/08/2026: A fantastic restaurant, very pleasant, with a warm welcome, excellent food, and a very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it. We ate there on Friday evening (August 14th) upon our arrival and again on Thursday evening (August 20th) before our departure the following day. The waiters and waitresses are very pleasant and attentive. The steak was excellent.

Relais Routier le Bon Secours

24/09/2026: Even though the staff didn't speak much English, they tried their best to communicate with us, and with good results. Despite the late hour and their tiredness, the staff and the bartender were polite and smiling, and I'd happily return. The food was very good, home-cooked, similar to our own. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions for the €16.50 menu were, I'd say, very generous. We experienced rudeness from a few customers who made fun of us for not understanding French, but that wasn't the fault of the bar or its staff. After a few days in France, I can say that I did meet some very nice and friendly French people, but generally speaking, making fun of non-French speakers seems to be a French national sport. I didn't expect this, and it changed my perception of the nation.
23/09/2026: Highly recommended, very friendly and helpful people. Lovely interior and nice to eat here for a reasonable price. I will definitely come back here.
