Les Douves sur Severac-Le-Chateau

Discovering this lovely village with its castle, we had a great meal…an excellent time! The service was top-notch 👍 good humor, good atmosphere…we'll definitely be back!

A small table of seven for lunch on Thursday, July 23rd, at the start of service. We received a warm welcome and were able to take our time perusing the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal: the Italian salad with burrata, the classic burger, the duck confit, and the three half-pizzas with salad. The children's menu was quite generous. We also thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream. Thank you for this wonderful culinary experience.

The ribeye steak and goat cheese salad were delicious! The owner was welcoming, and Margaux, who is new to the restaurant, provided very pleasant service. I recommend it! 👍🏼

Had a fantastic time at Restaurant des Douves!!! The duck burger is amazing!!!! The prices are more than reasonable: appetizer, main course, and dessert for under €24 per person!!!! The owner is incredibly accommodating! The waiter was very friendly. And a big bonus for the music selection 🪊🪊. I highly recommend it!

Super friendly owner. Discovered on Sunday, we were out of bread, and he "saved" us.) A typical local spot. Absolutely beautiful.... So, we had our meal there for my birthday, perfect. They even offered us a Madeleine cocktail before we left. Highly recommended.

While passing through Sévérac-le-Château, we made a wonderful discovery, both in terms of the village itself and this restaurant. The setting is magnificent, the welcome warm, the food delicious, and the service impeccable. As for the price: €15.90 for the ribeye steak, fries, and salad. We highly recommend it.

This evening, June 19, 2026, we are a family-run moving company. We arrived at your restaurant, Les Douve, on Friday at 10:30 PM. I dared to ask if it would be possible to eat. The owner told me they were cleaning up after service. He went to the kitchen and asked his cook if it would be possible to prepare four dishes. He came back to us and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We had a salad and three aligot sausages with a beer. IT WAS VERY GOOD!!! Jokingly, at the end of the book, you didn't even offer us dessert, and he replied very kindly, "But no problem," and we didn't insist. We said no, no, we didn't want to insist. In conclusion, thank you for not turning us away, as we know very well that, like you, we also have a demanding job in terms of hours. I give you a 7/5 rating. Room Service Pro From Orléans
