We were very satisfied with our lunch at Les Ducs de Lorraine. The service was friendly, attentive, and courteous. I must highlight the exceptional selection and quality of the cheese trolley. I chose five cheeses, all of which were excellent. My only slight complaint was that one of your staff members had shoes that made a lot of noise on your parquet floor. This was quite bothersome for my companion, who has very sensitive hearing. Perhaps something to consider. Thank you for a wonderful time nonetheless.

This place perfectly met our expectations. We were charmed from the moment we arrived, and the enchantment continued throughout the entire experience. The cuisine and menus remained traditional, meeting the high standards we expected. Finally, the very professional staff were attentive and responsive, anticipating all our requests. A beautiful old house, a lovely wooden staircase with a magnificent stained-glass window, and a warm and inviting dining room… The staff is welcoming and discreet (in the best possible way). The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious, and the homemade dessert, the mirabelle plum soufflé, is breathtaking. You could come to Epinal just for it. A French gastronomic gem not to be missed!

For a Michelin-starred restaurant, we expected quality service. We were barely seated before being asked what we wanted to drink, without even having time to look at the menu. The servers were all running around, creating an atmosphere that was anything but calm and relaxing. No wine pairings were offered. Being pregnant, they removed portions of my appetizer instead of replacing them. The dining room was very noisy. In my opinion, it's a good restaurant, but it doesn't deserve a star. Having dined at several, I can say the quality of service is nowhere near what you'd expect from a Michelin-starred establishment.

Beautiful house a little outside the center of Epinal. Refined decor. Round table for four (not very practical when there are only two of you!). Quick, friendly, and efficient service. Varied menus and a good wine list. Excellent cheese trolley (thank you for the recommendations!) and dessert trolley (a real treat!). A truly lovely place where you feel right at home. Definitely worth a visit!
