Les Embruns sur Saint-Malo

Fantastic mussels with chorizo. Pleasant setting and welcome. Reservations recommended. Prices rather high.

We stopped at Les Embruns while passing through and it was perfect! The seafood platter was excellent and the service was top-notch. Thank you very much.

Excellent address, good set menu at €49.50, foie gras very well seasoned, and delicious sea bream ceviche… excellent peppered beef fillet and an excellent 100% chocolate dessert… very nice wine cellar and good Armagnac… I find the negative reviews very harsh on this restaurant… the owner doesn't smile much (perhaps he's from Normandy), but luckily tonight he was joking about that caricature! It's true that the waitress doesn't smile much either… but the restaurant was full and everyone was focused on service, so we will gladly return to this very good restaurant

A refined meal, excellent value for money. The welcome was warm and friendly. A very pleasant evening, I highly recommend it!

A place well worth a visit. A Master Restaurateur restaurant. A truly homemade experience. A setting and dishes that are a little old-school and traditional in the best sense of the word. A fine wine list, and especially excellent wines by the glass (I was able to enjoy a glass of Meursault with my meal, for example). It's wonderful that places like this still exist; they're a welcome addition. The marinated salmon was very good. The seafood sauerkraut was light, but the fish was perfectly cooked, as were the cabbage and the sauce. The afternoon tea was also generous and exquisite, which is rare. The bread is good. Real butter. A truly well-run establishment, despite its touristy location. Thank you, and best wishes for the rest of the season.

Bad service, the waitress doesn't know that there is no fish, that there is no Sabre. They take away the dishes at an untimely time, everything just happens as it happens. No attention to the customer...

Arrived at 7:30 pm, left at 11 pm… Extremely slow service. The food was good, but the value for money was poor. It clearly didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation and accolades.

Our children invited us to Les Embruns yesterday: everything was delicious—the dishes, the presentation, the sides, the flavors, the colors, the wines, the desserts—all in a simple, warm, and unpretentious atmosphere. We can't wait to go back.
