A small restaurant we stumbled upon in November 2025, run by a couple and their daughters who help out. It's a shame they were out of mussels in the evening, as we had come specifically for them...
But we tried the bull stew (gardiane de taureau) instead: a real treat! The customers were chatting amicably, and there were many regulars who came back every year. A lovely little restaurant. We'll be back this summer with our children to try the fish specialty that some customers had raved about... but this time we'll make a reservation to be sure of getting mussels, or we'll come for lunch. A must-try spot in Les Saintes, a very warm welcome, and the various dishes are excellent. We went two days in a row, and I'm surprised by some of the comments…
The food, service, and welcome were all impeccable.
Excellent value for money.
Less than €100 for three people.

What a lovely surprise! While out for a stroll, we discovered this blue gem, far from the tourist traps. We barely left and already wanted to come back... We felt like we were staying with friends. From the bull stew to the chocolate cake, we were delighted with everything. The decor and service were immaculate.
Family atmosphere and cuisine, with a warm, friendly welcome from the owner, who has been working here with her family for about fifteen years. Reasonably priced for Saintes Marie de la Mer.
