The best restaurant in Avoriaz. We ate as a family. Home cooking with fresh products. Perfect. I recommend and we ate there almost every day during our stay. Impeccable welcome. The best cocktails. The tartiflette, the mont d’or, the Linguines,… We will come back. Thank you for these moments spent in your restaurant. Thanks for the Génépis. From Anthony, Smaelle, Léo and Tom.

We came here for lunch on our last day, service was ok, we was quite late in the afternoon so the restaurant wasn’t busy. I went for the beef tartare and I regret it, it looked nice but it didn’t taste like other beef tartare I’d had previously. I was really ill the next day with food poisoning, I can’t say 100% it was the beef tartare but I’m pretty sure it was. The pizzas looked really good and I’d try one of them if I ever went back.

Restaurant was packed last week of the ski season. Nothing was to much trouble the waitress’s were excellent and the food the best we had eaten on our holiday.

Good resort restaurant! You can stop there and go skiing!

Recommended by our ski instructor, we went to book a table for later that day and were advised they don’t take bookings but if we turn up before 7pm it shouldn’t be a problem to seat 6 people. They were true to their word. The children’s menu has salmon on, which was different to all the other restaurants we went to, so my son had that and ate it all. He followed it up with the chocolate mousse as part of the kids menu, and again he wolfed it down. They brought the kids meals out first, which was a nice touch. All four adults had steak in varying forms, and all said they were cooked perfectly (medium in France is more like our medium-rare in the UK). I had the Abondnace steak which was wrapped in bacon and topped with cheese and mushrooms. I had mash with mine, and we all received carrot purée, swede, and broccoli. All of which was delicious. The only slight negative was with the deserts: Turamasu was nice, but not made with “ladies fingers”, and the crème caramel was just okay. I had the Tarte Tatin with ice cream and it was very nice. Service was good, no complaints at all. We asked for wine recommendations and duly chose what was recommended - we weren’t disappointed, so good to know the staff know what they’re talking about. Full cost for two kids meals (main and desert), four adults (main and depart), and two bottles of wine, worked out at €390, so not cheap, but worth it. We liked it so much we went back again a few days later. That wasn’t the original plan, but we found most restaurants didn’t open until 7pm, and if you hadn’t booked a few days in advance then you weren’t getting in. The good things about this restaurant was that it was open, at a guess, from around 6pm (but could be earlier). Yes, you can’t book a table, but if you turn before 7pm then hopefully you won’t wait (we didn’t have to both times, arriving 6.30pm and 6.55pm).

Great restaurant, we ate there very often during our stay, the staff are really great, all friendly, professional and attentive! Very good traditional cuisine and the big plus is service until 11 p.m.! Special mention to the waiter who comes from Gers, a very dynamic and pleasant young man 😌

By far the best eating experience I've had while I've been out here on the slopes. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing with good portions and the all you can eat buffet is such a good deal. Genuinely wishing we had just decided to eat here every day.

Very warm welcome, several rooms, very good service and very good meal. Starter based on gratinated snails, followed by a very good reblochon crust, delicious pizza as well as wok vegetables. Thanks to Gabby from the horse-drawn carriage for pointing us to this very good restaurant where you can treat yourself to quality cuisine and a warm welcome.
