Overall, a very satisfying stay. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Saint-Omer, making it easy to get around on foot, with parking nearby. The welcome was warm and the service simple yet efficient. A major highlight was the restaurant, offering generous regional cuisine (such as Welsh rarebit, Maroilles cheese, and potjevleesch), decent portions, and a friendly atmosphere.
However, some of the hotel rooms could use a real refresh (the decor is a bit dated, and the bathrooms could be improved), and soundproofing can be limited depending on the room. Breakfast was adequate, but not memorable. I recommend it, especially for the location and the food, but modernizing the rooms would definitely elevate the overall experience.
A cozy hotel in the heart of the city with a touch of nostalgia: everything is neat and tidy, even though the interior is a bit dated. The friendly welcome and authentic charm immediately compensate for this. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious dinner with simple but honest dishes prepared with local, quality ingredients. A place with a heart.
