A great lunch at Les Garçons Bouchers. Had the Saucisson Brioché de la Maison Bobosse with a couple of Saint Véran's Domaine des Deux Roches 2024 and also tried Sophie's recommendation - Beaujolais village's Château de Poncié Eclosion 2024 - very refreshing and nice nose that went well with my St Marcellin cheese. Sophie also was very kind to find me search for a shop to get my dutch oven. Merci, Sophie!

A fantastic dining experience with seating in the market or upstairs with air conditioning. Expertly cooked steak dinners with multiple options for sauces and sides. The staff is accommodating and friendly. A fantastic choice if you're visiting the area. Don't forget the Crème brûlée for dessert!

A warm welcome, a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and above all, delicious dishes made with quality ingredients and expertly prepared. Les Garçons Bouchers, a cult spot in the Bocuse market hall in Lyon. The meat is flavorful, on par with the other products sold in the hall, and the requested dishes are cooked to perfection. The sauces and side dishes are also excellent. The mashed potatoes, ratatouille, and gratins are superb. A wonderful time with family or friends. The servers are pleasant, smiling, and very efficient. I've been going there for over eight years and I'm never disappointed. Thank you for your consistent quality. For my friends in wheelchairs: Yes, it's accessible via the ramp outside. It's best to make a reservation and let them know you're coming, but you'll always receive a very warm welcome. The restrooms are the same as everyone else's in the hall, and they are accessible. So don't hesitate, I highly recommend it.

Okay, but a few missteps. I went with a client, without a reservation. We easily found a seat in the large upstairs room, although the limited space made business conversations a bit difficult – to be expected in this type of establishment. The staff was friendly, but one detail spoiled the experience: our dishes were switched when we ordered. They realized it, took the dishes back under the pretext of an "order error"... only to serve them again two minutes later, still a false claim, without explanation or apology. A shame, because we would have readily accepted the mistake as it was. In total: €90 for two tartares (one of which was 300g), sparkling water, and two gourmet coffees. The prices are in line with the market, but it's still surprising!
