Les Gens de Mer sur Dunkerque

Very pleasantly surprised. We were looking for a last-minute hotel in the afternoon. The very attractive price might have made us doubt the quality. The welcome was very professional and cheerful. The room and bathroom were very clean and functional. We expected to find very outdated facilities based on some reviews and photos, but that wasn't the case at all. 🙂 The bedding and linens were very satisfactory. The breakfast is more than adequate for 10 euros (basic sweet and savory buffet, fresh products, good quality coffee). You get a real "family-friendly" atmosphere if you take the time to chat with the staff.

A simple hotel with decent service. We appreciated the ideal location: between the port, the city center, and the beach.

The hotel isn't fancy, but it's very good for the price. Breakfast was even better than expected.

Stopover on the way to England and absolutely fantastic.

Friendly welcome. The rooms are ideal with a very practical kitchenette. A nice touch of chocolate was always appreciated. The bedding is comfortable and well soundproofed. Dogs are welcome. The breakfasts are very generous and offer something for everyone: several kinds of bread, cereals, yogurt, very good coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, cheese or bacon, and butter (plain or salted) – a real treat! I highly recommend it. See you soon.
