Les Iles du Cantal sur Saint-Flour

Unfortunately, we had a problem with the cooking of both dishes. The sausage wasn't cooked and was served again 20 minutes later. The stuffed cabbage, on the other hand, was burnt. These things happen, the staff apologized, and we received a discount on the bill. The dining room is very beautiful, and the view is magnificent. We didn't feel like trying the desserts. Considering the other very positive reviews, I think we were just unlucky.

We had a good meal. The food was very good, with only one small drawback: we had booked in advance for three people and were given a bistro table for two, which was very cramped. When I mentioned this while paying, I was told it was difficult to seat three people. I was very disappointed by the response, which offered no apology. They should have mentioned at the time of booking that there were no tables for three. I will not return to this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant! A warm and authentic place, with staff who are discreet, helpful, smiling, and very efficient. We particularly enjoyed the dishes: stuffed cabbage, aligot, and Salers beef—everything was delicious and prepared with excellent Auvergne products. Beautiful view of the lower town of St. Flour and very reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, ideally located in the heart of the charming town of Saint-Flour. The breathtaking view over the valley is simply stunning and adds a real touch of escapism to the meal. The setting, both modern and welcoming, immediately puts you at ease. As for the food, there's something for everyone: local specialties, savory galettes, or gourmet burgers—everything is designed to satisfy every craving. Special mention goes to the dessert menu, varied and generous, perfect for ending your meal on a sweet note, according to your preferences. The service is also excellent: attentive and helpful waiters, and a particularly welcoming young owner who contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit when you're in Saint-Flour, offering excellent value for money. Don't hesitate to stop by!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and received a very warm welcome. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. A place to remember, both for the meal and the superb view of the city. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Very good crêperie, friendly staff. Be aware it's a bit pricey; we paid over €40 for two people.

It was by chance that we stumbled upon the Cantal Islands, and what a wonderful discovery it was! The staff were discreet yet attentive to our satisfaction. The aligot sausage was delicious, and the "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) lived up to its name! We enjoyed our table with its view of the valley. We highly recommend it.
