Way too much salad in the gizzard salad. 😤

A nice, hearty salad, enough for a light lunch.

We love the food and pizzas at Jardin du Lavoir, but our last visit wasn't pleasant. The restaurant was celebrating the chef's retirement, and we waited 45 minutes for the menu after being seated behind a post on the terrace... I had booked through their website mid-week, no less. They brought us our aperitif and main course at the same time. The waiter apologized because we were in a corner where we couldn't see... not great! It's a shame, because it's a really good restaurant! We hope to be welcomed better next time ☺️

We had booked a few months in advance and everything was perfect upon arrival...the food was excellent, with a lovely menu offering plenty of choice...and lots of homemade dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant, despite its popularity due to its proximity to Puy du Fou.

We ordered cuts of meat for grilling—ribeye steak and rump steak—and they were delicious! 🥩 The meat was very tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The server was also very friendly, kind, and welcoming. Excellent value for money. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! Highly recommended! +++ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

11/08/2026: A very good restaurant; the crepes were excellent, and the burgers with buckwheat crepes as buns were also very good. The ice cream was also very good. The staff were very welcoming. The wait time was a little longer due to the large number of people arriving at the same time to go to the Puy du Fou Cinéscénie show.
10/08/2026: Very good, but the wait was very long considering how few people there were. 40 minutes between the main course and dessert. Otherwise, the food was very well cooked.
