In Strasbourg's Petite France district, there's a bakery that's definitely one of the earliest openings in the area. It was the only place that offered us breakfast options when we left early in the morning, and more importantly, the food was delicious.

Prices were already quite high, and the hot chocolate was from a machine.

We stopped by to get some sandwiches on Sunday, July 26th at 3:30 PM. I think the vendor really didn't want to be there. I can understand that, given it was a Sunday. But honestly, we felt like we were bothering him. It's a good thing I asked, because one sandwich could have been part of the set menu; otherwise, I would have been charged full price. Now, let's talk about the sandwiches. The chicken bagnat was pretty good, as was the rosette baguette, but the salmon brioche bun had no flavor. We'll know where not to go next time.
