Les Marmottes sur Fontcouverte-La-Toussuire

It’s always a pleasure to spend some time with the marmots in summer and winter!!!! Thank you to the kind owner for letting us enjoy the whole days of his swimming pool while sipping a delicious dogfish or enjoying a pancake or an ice cream.

A bit disappointing. Already last winter the service was very long. So of course we are on vacation but more than 2 hours to be served is still exaggerated!!! And this summer, you have to order inside, pick up your order yourself, no hot chocolate...And for the swimming pool the children had their buoys confiscated, (while when we arrived two young girls played with them, they seemed to know the waitress well) we don't know for what reasons and the swimming pool was closed around 5 p.m. while our friends were planning to return there... Overall we had the impression of not being welcome ... We are all owners at La Toussuire and we find it a shame the resort's lack of atmosphere...

Disappointing visit to the Marmottes restaurant where incompetence seemed to be on the menu of the day. Arriving at 11:30 a.m. with my 2-year-old son, we sat on a practically deserted terrace, just like the interior room. Despite this, we had to wait an interminable half hour before a waiter deigned to welcome us. What could be the excuse for such a delay? A hidden room teeming with invisible tourists? A portal to a parallel dimension? Or perhaps the staff was too busy organizing their private entertainment rather than taking care of the guests present. Fortunately, once the order was placed, there were no complaints about the generosity of the portions or the quality of the food and beers, which surpassed those of their neighbor, Le Chamois. However, fast service is the minimum expected, especially in an empty establishment. The indefensible wait seriously ruined our experience, making this meal frustrating and taxing the patience of a two-year-old. From Marmots, we would expect a more organized hibernation!

A very good restaurant on the snow front! The food is simple but very good. The service is top notch. Thank you marmots for your sympathy.

Friendly welcome, copious and well presented dishes, careful and fast service. I understand better why this is my husband's headquarters. He introduced us to this place with friends. We have very good memories of it and will come back with pleasure.
