It's become my regular haunt, and for good reason. Behind this unassuming facade lies much more than just an ordinary bar: it's a place where time seems to slow down. Lionel, the owner, is the heart of the place. With each visit, he has a new story to share, anecdotes that brighten the evening and create a genuinely friendly atmosphere. It's rare to find an owner who fosters such a connection.
The intimacy of the place makes it ideal for a one-on-one date, far from the hustle and bustle of trendy bars. Conversations flow naturally, without the noise of a crowd.
But it's also a perfect haven to recharge when you need a break, a place where you truly feel welcome.
Highly recommended for those who value authenticity over superficiality.
11/07/2026: A superb discovery: this cocktail bar tucked away in the Saint Jean district. The two bartenders are true lovers of French spirits and craft their cocktails with real expertise. No overly sweet, mainstream cocktails here, but a local selection that delighted us. The setting is magnificent, with a Belle Époque and Roaring Twenties soundtrack that perfectly complemented the atmosphere.

We didn't have a reservation, but we took a chance and we weren't disappointed at all! The chicken was incredibly tender, a pure delight. The service was friendly and welcoming. It's definitely in my top 3 restaurants in Paris.
02/08/2026: Excellent place! We had the rib steak and the Châteauneuf-du-Pape cheese, both were divine. I highly recommend it!

07/08/2026: Passing through La Toussuire, we stopped at this restaurant. The welcome was fantastic, and the service was excellent! 👍👌💪 We ate very well (especially the gentleman with the little leopard-print bag 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣). Looking forward to returning!
07/08/2026: The staff were pleasant, but we can't constantly take advantage of holidaymakers by charging exorbitant prices compared to the quantity served and the quality of the food. Avoid at all costs!

The service is top-notch, with a very warm and professional team.
The continuous service is a real plus, very convenient and appreciated.

26/06/2026: We had dinner on the evening of June 26th, a group of 13, and the chef treated us to a fantastic meal!
Delicious appetizers, an amazing salmon koulibiac with sorrel sauce, and a delicious strawberry and rhubarb dessert.
In short, go for it!!
01/04/2026: Do not miss this family owned Hotel. Tasty and original French cuisine at an affordable price. The owner is visible and adorable. A well located place for a vacation in the heart of the resort.

28/03/2026: There were 11 adults and 1 baby in our party, and we had an absolutely perfect time at Les Marmottes restaurant in La Toussuire.
From the moment we arrived, everything ran smoothly despite the size of our group, which was a huge plus. The service was simply incredible from beginning to end. A big thank you to the waiter who looked after us: professional, attentive, super friendly, and always smiling. He truly contributed to making our evening even more enjoyable.
As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: everyone at the table loved their meal. The portions are generous, the ingredients are high quality, and the dishes are truly delicious. It's the kind of place where no one regrets their choice, and where everyone tries what's on their neighbor's plate 😉
Our friend who is gluten-free was also happy to find something to enjoy on the menu!
In short, a flawless experience, and unanimous praise from everyone at the table! We'll definitely be back 👌

21/03/2026: We ordered pasta with blue cheese sauce. We're still looking for the blue cheese flavor. The blueberry tart was passable. However, the price was too high for the poor quality.
19/03/2026: Two days spent at Les Carlines and nothing to complain about, the rooftop was even better, matured rib of beef, attentive service, thank you to Sonia and Vico for this warm welcome and top-notch service, I highly recommend it!!

12/03/2026: I can't understand the negative reviews of this restaurant; the service is quick and the food is good. Having tried both restaurants at altitude in La Toussuire, this one is far better than the Carlines self-service restaurant.

17/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel was spotless, with a superb team: from the management to all the staff, everyone was incredibly kind.
The restaurant's decor is very well done, in a mountain chalet style that immediately sets the mood.
Special mention for the half-board option: the meals were simply exceptional! We discovered all the Savoyard specialties throughout the week. Luckily, there was skiing to compensate for the calories… and the little salad was always there to accompany them 😉
A major plus: ski-in/ski-out access; the hotel is ideally located at the foot of the slopes and lifts. We'll definitely be back!
