Small downside about the chocolate which has no taste. Maybe it would be better to use Nutella instead.

Superb lunch! Galette ratatouille for my wife. Crepe la Normande- with apples, salted caramel butter and vanilla ice-cream. Both prepared as we watched and served with 2 mugs of dry cider. Lovely ambience and friendly staff so what was not to like? To be fair, if you want a lot of space, this is not the place for you. However, we love it!

19/09/2024: Restaurant ideally located next to the hermitage. Menus at attractive prices and quality in a cozy atmosphere. A plus white tablecloths and cloth napkins. Already planning to return during a next visit to Le Touquet

Le Scoop

08/12/2025: A mixed experience. The reviews are glowing, the location is pleasant, and the promise of bistronomic cuisine makes you want to step inside. All these factors suggested a good time was in store. However, once seated, the food unfortunately doesn't quite live up to expectations. The menu is unclear in places: the famous Scoop sauce, presented as the house specialty, isn't described anywhere. For the burgers, neither the meat nor the side dish is mentioned. When questioned, the waitress told us that the burger is supposed to be served with fries and salad… which wasn't the case. Now, let's talk about the meal. While the service is quick and well-organized, several things stood out about the food. The snails had a surprising texture, far from what one expects from perfectly cooked snails, and were clearly lacking in seasoning: the garlic, in particular, was very subtle. The fish and chips was well-executed: a classic, executed perfectly. The Biquette Burger suffered from a fatal flaw. The bun arrived blackened; we initially thought it was colored with squid ink, before realizing it was actually as hard as a rusk. In that state, it should never have left the kitchen. We decided to give the desserts a chance nonetheless: the dark chocolate lava cake and the profiteroles. Both were advertised as homemade. The lava cake was well-made, but the choice of a very strong chocolate left a pronounced bitterness at the end, which won't appeal to everyone. The profiteroles, highly anticipated for their homemade choux pastry, were disappointing: a dry and crumbly texture, giving the impression of a product that wasn't fresh or possibly defrosted. They lacked the expected lightness of a freshly made choux pastry. In short, a mixed experience. The establishment clearly aims to offer bistronomic cuisine, but several avoidable missteps detract from the overall experience. With a few adjustments, the restaurant could truly elevate its offerings.
29/11/2025: Excellent bistro fare! The welcome is warm and impeccable. The dishes, perfectly executed, are delicious and served promptly. Bravo!
