Delicious local cuisine at a reasonable price, right in the heart of Rennes' old town. I'm not giving it top marks because, like most places in Rennes, it's not properly heated for summer. However much they may deny it, climate change, whether caused by humans or not, is here to stay, and summers are going to get hotter and hotter across Europe. They need to adapt their establishments to this new reality. And no, sitting outside in 35-degree heat isn't the best option either.

A really nice place for lunch. The price for an appetizer and main course, or a main course and dessert, is €13.50, and if you order all three (appetizer, main course, and dessert), it's €17.50. You'll just have to hurry, because we arrived at 1 p.m. and they sold out right after we arrived. We got a salad, filet mignon, and tart or panna cotta. There's no English menu, but like everywhere, the staff speaks some English.

The lunch menu is a bit simple and sometimes lacks a little flavor in some dishes, but the prices are reasonable. Enjoying lunch on the terrace in Place St-Germain is a very pleasant experience.

Absolutely delicious! €13.50 for the set lunch menu (starter + main or main + dessert) I had a vegetable crumble and a burrata, and the chefs delivered exactly what I ordered: a truly excellent crumble with a variety of vegetables and a wonderfully creamy burrata. The restaurant is very well located (Place Saint Germain) and has a terrace with huge parasols/umbrellas. The waiter was also very friendly. (Vegan/halal options are available.) I highly recommend it! 🙏

A wonderfully relaxed restaurant with friendly service. The food was good and perfect for sharing. Those sitting outside have a lovely view of the square and can observe the surrounding countryside and people.
