the variety of dishes is not too great, the atmosphere is ok, the service was top notch. Prices are high

Busy place that will try to get you seated. Standard French fare. The onion soup is to die for though the Asian style chicken salad was a bit boring. The steak tartare and my lamb loin were good. Asking for an assortment of fromage brings you such a large amount!
The place is full of tourists however.

Great place for a meal whatever time of day, the food was amazing, service friendly and the place was buzzing.
Probably one of the best value restaurants you will find in Paris, €30 set menu all day for starter or dessert and main, I had the french onion soup and confit duck both of which were amazing.
Would and will be recommending to everyone visiting Paris.

The products used are still of high quality but the preparation in the kitchen has declined
A tartare in raw minced steak mode, insufficiently seasoned and there was no way to get a server to rectify it because they were so overwhelmed. Onion soup with too much cheese and not gratinated.
Too bad the owner supports great values, which made you want to frequent his restaurants.

I came to this place with one goal in mind: to taste their famous onion soup! After hearing so much praise about it, my expectations were sky-high. When the dish arrived, I couldn't wait to dig in, despite the soup being piping hot. The result was beyond perfect and even exceeded my high expectations. The balance of cheese to bread was just right, and the flavor of the soup was incredibly rich. Honestly, it's one of the best onion soups I've had in a long time.
