Décidément, pas mal d’estaminets de la rue de Gand réservent de belles surprises. Ce resto en est une. L’accueil est charmant et le service efficace. J’ai opté pour l’assiette «  découverte » composée d’un potjevlees, d’un welsh, de carbonades flamandes et d’un poulet à la crème de maroilles. Que de beaux produits ! Un régal ! Et les desserts ne sont pas en reste. Pour ne rien gâcher, les prix sont très corrects.

29/09/2024: We are used to this restaurant in old Lille. The atmosphere, the cuisine and above all the service are top notch. The four of us ate meat and salmon tartars, a hamburger and a Welsh. Everything very good and fresh. Small dessert to end this beautiful evening. I recommend.

15/12/2024: We couldn't wait to discover this much-vaunted place. We came for brunch. The plates are not very garnished unlike the photos I saw online... sweet plate with 1/2 teaspoon of granola, 1/2 teaspoon of cottage cheese or yogurt and a slice of chestnut cake and a very small portion of memory compote…. Cold savory plate too bad because the cold fried potatoes are not extraordinary but we nevertheless had a good time. So slight frustration but we will come back for a second attempt because it may have been an end of service or an “off” day….
15/12/2024: A perfect place for a winter brunch. The Christmas atmosphere and all these plants give the room a cozy atmosphere. The food was also excellent!
