It was thanks to a gift card that we discovered Les Petite Terrasses, a welcoming place. We discovered excellent dishes, well-stocked and balanced. Thank you to the chef who introduced us to his cuisine, which is as beautiful as it is delicious. We will be back.
Cozy place and well run by a hostess / service and chef. Good selection of drink choices and daily menu. The magret de canard was delightful with a Borgeuil red.
08/02/2026: A perfect brunch enjoyed in the sunlit conservatory overlooking the park.
The buffet was appetizing, plentiful, varied, and delicious. The service was also impeccable.

02/02/2026: We were disappointed with our stay at Château de Rochecotte, primarily due to the condition of the room. We found cobwebs, peeling wallpaper, and a bedbug in the bathroom. Furthermore, the description mentioned a king-size bed, when in reality it was two twin mattresses.
In addition, the occupants of the neighboring room made a lot of noise all night. When we reported this to reception, we were told that it was like that in all the rooms, which we highly doubt. This response seemed too dismissive, as if our complaint wasn't being taken seriously, perhaps because we are young and perceived as less likely to make a scene than some regular guests. As it stood, the room was clearly not worth the price.
We also regret that no compensation was offered despite the issues we reported.
However, it wasn't all bad. The park is magnificent and the various rooms of the castle are superb. The gourmet dinner was a real treat, and the generous breakfast served in the conservatory was very pleasant.
