I had the monkfish with mixed vegetables, and it was delicious. Great concept, and you get to discover homemade Vendée cuisine. I highly recommend it.

A very good restaurant for typical Vendée cuisine. All at a very affordable price and with quality ingredients! The service was very friendly and we were able to get explanations about the typical dishes. Thank you! I highly recommend it.

A truly excellent restaurant. Very unique with its little terracotta pots hanging from the ceiling. The welcome at the entrance was very friendly, the food was truly delicious, and the waiter was very kind and multi-talented, even taking photos graciously (just a little joke there 😉). A restaurant I highly recommend in La Roche-sur-Yon. And if the opportunity arises, I would gladly return.

Overall, I was disappointed. The food was nothing special, just basic fare, which we knew was expected, but the portions were really small. A 50cl pitcher of white wine diluted with water is a really poor practice.

The terracotta pot concept is lovely. The welcome was perfect and the service was quick. I'd been meaning to go for a long time and wasn't disappointed. I didn't try the brioche specialty, maybe next time.

Unique setting and very good regional cuisine... the only slight drawback was the somewhat rushed service for dinner. Nevertheless, we had a lovely time.

16/05/2026: A very warm welcome at La Boucherie in La Roche-sur-Yon, friendly staff and excellent food! However, a thought for staff safety: going down to the cellar without lights to retrieve the bottles turns every service into a real challenge 😅🍷
12/05/2026: Lunch break with limited time, yet a very good experience at La Boucherie in La Roche-sur-Yon! Warm welcome, smiling staff, and efficient service. The meat was excellent and cooked to perfection. Friendly and pleasant atmosphere. We will gladly return; I highly recommend it!

05/05/2026: First restaurant we visited after getting off the motorway with our family. Completely satisfied. Well-balanced cuisine and fresh ingredients. Excellent prices. Thank you to the couple who took over this restaurant. We wish them every success. Practical tip: parking is 50m away in front of the church. We'll be back.
