In summer the resort is relatively calm, and very diverse in activities with one downside: the "Ascension Pass" is too expensive, + you still have to pay for the activities!

Beautiful resort which connects Val Thorens and Méribel too bad it is not there ability to extend its opening when the weather is favorable close on April 20 when there is a lot of snow it's a shame

Great ski resort especially for families. Better snow cover in Val Thorens if skiing late season but better value and not such noisy crowds in Menuires

The town is well located for most connecting lifts. Good (free) parking options. Especially like that there is a 24-hour open pizza vending machine in the local shopping centre.

Chalet Des 2 Ours

14/12/2024: Very fast service. With le plat du jour you are always well served.
13/12/2024: An exceptional experience at the Chalet des 2 Ours! The cuisine is delicious, the dishes are generous and prepared with care. The setting is magnificent and warm, perfect for having a good time. Nico, the owner, is welcoming, attentive and passionate. It’s a must-see place, we will come back without hesitation!

19/01/2025: Great music! Especially for the dutch a really good place to go out
19/01/2025: Very good atmosphere in the unmistakably Dutch après ski shop. It remains a mystery why the DJ only plays all the tracks for less than a minute and then switches to the next track even though the mood is boiling over. That seems a bit hectic. There is no entry fee, but the Kronenberger 0.5 liter beer costs a whopping €10. Payment is commendably only by card 👍
