Great atmosphere and welcoming service

Les Sardines was amazing!!!!! We were very disappointed by the restaurant No Comment: we had a reservation, but at 10:40 pm, we were told, "Sorry, the kitchen is closed, you can't order." A huge disappointment. So we went to the restaurant Les Sardines, and it was a completely different experience: a warm welcome, a smiling, professional, and truly attentive team. The service was responsive, the atmosphere pleasant, and you could tell the staff were genuinely committed to doing a good job. Les Sardines clearly saved our evening. Thank you for your kindness and your excellent service: it makes all the difference!

After a huge disappointment at the restaurant "No Comment," we ended up at Les Sardines at 11:15 pm… and what a complete change of atmosphere! Despite the late hour, the welcome was impeccable. We were immediately put at ease, with a genuine smile and, above all, that phrase we'd been dreaming of hearing: "You can order anything you want from the menu." That alone saved our evening. The entire team was lovely, kind, and attentive, never making us feel rushed. It was truly refreshing. As for the food, it was good, simple, and satisfying. And the bonus: the DJ was playing a great playlist, the perfect atmosphere to forget the ordeal of the previous restaurant. Honestly, I only regret one thing: not coming here in the first place. It would have saved us from a terrible evening at "No Comment." The Sardines, for their part, have clearly redeemed themselves. Thank you for this moment.

We celebrated a birthday, there were 16 of us and we were very well received, we had a wonderful meal, the beef ribs were excellent, a great atmosphere, a big thank you and see you soon!

A very nice little tapas restaurant in the center of Pau. Good value for money, the knives are excellent, and the Camembert platter is a treat! The staff is also great, attentive despite the crowds. Go there with your eyes closed!

A few weeks ago we went to Les Sardines for dinner and the experience was excellent. The waiter who served us was very friendly and welcoming. He also tried to speak to us in Spanish whenever possible. We asked for recommendations and he suggested the duck heart, potatoes with aioli, and the burrata salad. Everything was delicious.
