Okay, but one cake (marble cake) was really sweet in my opinion.

I posted a mixed review a few years ago following a bad experience, but since then I've returned to this place often and the atmosphere is really pleasant, thanks in particular to Mégane, whose kindness makes the place even more welcoming and friendly.

A delightful surprise! Located right across from the train station, this establishment completely defies expectations. Places around train stations are usually expensive and of average quality, but here it's the complete opposite: the prices are very affordable and the quality is truly exceptional. The welcome is outstanding. The waitress is incredibly kind, smiling, and attentive, and you can tell this perfectly reflects the entire team's attitude. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, immediately putting you at ease, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: the salad of the day was excellent, fresh, and very well prepared. And a special mention goes to the frangipane galette, without a doubt one of the best slices I've ever eaten. I feel I must emphasize this because I worked for many years in artisanal bakeries, so I'm quite demanding in this regard: here, the quality is undeniable. The place is very welcoming; you feel right at home, whether you're looking for a quiet meal or a relaxing break. Superb place with a very warm welcome. I especially loved the brookie – it was both generous and delicious. Perfect for waiting for your train or becoming a regular.
