A wonderful discovery in every way. A very warm welcome and very pleasant staff. The portions were generous and delicious, especially the veal escalope with gratinéed ham and the salmon and ricotta toast. It was excellent. Congratulations on your commitment to local producers. We will definitely be back.

What a great find yesterday! We went to the movies at 6 pm, then had dinner. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere friendly, the two waitresses were lovely, and their smiles, along with a touch of humor, were always welcome. The meal was fantastic, with so much choice, so many colors and aromas. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves... In short, we'll be back soon. So, if you want to have a great time and enjoy a delicious meal, come and discover this gem...👏

I came on February 14th and it was absolutely fantastic and so delicious. The cocktail was amazing, I even had a second one. I highly recommend it. Not to mention the waiters/waitresses who are lovely and always smiling. The food is really good ☺️

26/03/2026: Family lunch today at noon. Very warm welcome and excellent service. The dishes and desserts were well-presented and delicious. The only downside was the noisy restaurant, mainly due to the loud music, forcing customers to speak loudly to be heard over it.
21/03/2026: Good pizzeria in the pedestrian zone of Saintes near the cathedral. The crust was a little thin for my taste, but the pizza was generously topped and delicious, made with quality ingredients. The waiter (or perhaps the owner) was very friendly and smiling. He had a great sense of humor! The interior is in the Saintes style, all stonework and dressed stone, an authentic rustic style! We were very comfortable, with plenty of space at the table. We were delighted! The pasta dishes were a big hit with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law! I didn't try them! Dessert: Amarena ice cream, very good! We were thrilled and will be back! We'll be back again in October 2025 and March 2026! Always just as good, with fast and impeccable service and a smile ♥️

La Trattoria

05/01/2026: We booked for 5 in the summer of 2025. It was one of the only restaurants open on a Sunday at the end of August with available tables. The pizzas weren't amazing, but we were happy to find a table that day. The owners gave us a warm welcome. Dogs are welcome.
10/12/2025: I've eaten at La Tratoria several times over the past few years. I absolutely love it. The restaurant has a family atmosphere, and we always receive a warm welcome. The pizzas are delicious! Best of luck to the team, and thank you :)
