A truly wonderful evening! Impeccable service, attentive and available waiters 😊 Excellent and meticulously prepared cuisine Sauces, juices, and reductions were expertly crafted and flavorful 👏

I had heard positive things from people I knew, so I probably idealized the meal too much... - Pleasant setting and friendly service - We didn't have to wait too long (unlike our neighbors who were complaining), but we arrived a little before 8 pm and were seated at a large table nearby. - Quantity: A little more garnish (which was otherwise very good) wouldn't have gone amiss in a €27 à la carte dish (7 or 8 mini artichoke purée balls with 2 salad leaves... pretty, but the salad adds nothing, and why not consider a more generous presentation than these mini balls?) - Dessert from the set menu: Mousse with granola, a few raspberries, and rhubarb purée. I understand the need for profitability on a menu, but this was like eating a Fontainebleau in my company cafeteria with three raspberries, two hazelnuts, and some (very, very dense) granola on top—I was clearly being taken for a ride. The title and description were incredibly enticing, and the "wow" factor completely fell apart when the dessert arrived, especially when I ate it with that dense, tooth-breaking sphere. They might as well have made a good, well-executed crème brûlée, but the title is much less appealing on a menu. Bill for two: €93 (one main course and dessert à la carte + a set menu with two aperitifs). In conclusion: the side dishes lacked generosity, and the desserts lacked creativity. The creativity-to-price ratio was far too high for our taste.

It's been a long time since I've eaten so well. Well done to the team. It was very good and plentiful.

One of the best French restaurants I’ve ever been (in France, all over Europe and the U.S.), even better than most Michelin restaurants. Their appetizers tend to be even more excellent than their main dishes; my favorites are: langoustine in bisque and duck tataki. In particular, the langoustine in bisque is really out of this world, and I will be dreaming about this dish until my return to Gif-sur-Yvette; this dish alone deserves a Michelin star. Their appetizers tend to be very creative in its mixture of sauces and ingredients. Everything tastes freshly made and of high quality. You can tell the chef is a master when even the side dishes such as potatoes or courgettes taste amazing. The location of the restaurant is perfectly convenient, just near the RER B station of GIF-sur-Yvette. They have both outdoor and indoor tables. In the summer, they have air conditioning inside. The only thing I don’t recommend is the dessert, nothing special compared to how amazing the appetizers and main dishes are. Overall this is certainly one of the best French restaurants in the entire Il de France, and it’s completely of a different league from the touristy restaurants in Paris. The restaurant is very small so reservation is highly recommended.
