Les Seiglières sur Saint-Martin-D'Uriage

It looks beautiful, nicely set, and inviting. Unexpected was the menu, which featured only fish, situated on top of a mountain far away from water. There, I missed the connection with the surroundings. Otherwise, everything was fine.

What a wonderful discovery! I'd been hearing about it for ages. A superb meal, a young and friendly team who are clearly invested in the success of this historic place! I can't wait to see the chef's next menu!

Excellent meal, very little wait, I recommend it

A consistently lovely restaurant with authentic dishes and refined, sophisticated cuisine. My only regret is that the set menu (starter + main course or starter, main course, dessert) is no longer available, making the overall price a little less clear. Definitely worth discovering or returning to – it's exceptional and truly local!

The cuisine was excellent, truly refined and subtle, with beautiful flavor combinations and a real sense of artistry in the presentation. However, the portions were far too small. Leaving a restaurant with a rather high bill while still feeling hungry seems hardly acceptable, especially at this price point. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserves a more generous experience. The dining room, meanwhile, is beautifully decorated and very elegant, but unfortunately extremely noisy. This significantly detracts from the comfort and enjoyment of the meal. In the end, the food was excellent, but the overall experience was somewhat mixed, given the portion sizes and the noise level in the dining room.

The dishes were rather light and not hot enough. Frankly, I couldn't find the risotto that was supposed to accompany the tiny trout fillet. The servers were friendly and smiling. The price was high for the portion size.

The wait between the finished main courses and desserts was a bit too long, with orders being placed at the same time as the main courses!

It was absolutely delicious (truffle egg with a divine sauce, mussels in Vin Jaune sauce were superb, and it was very well served with plenty of vegetables, plus a very original and delicious creamy dessert of white chocolate, blackberries, and buckwheat). The two servers were also excellent, and the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxed. Honestly, well done!

A repeat experience, and just as perfect as ever. I shared this place with a friend who loved it. Thank you for this wonderful time.
