This hotel is well located: close to the activities Saumur has to offer, yet peaceful. Magnificent view of the town and its castle. The welcome was impeccable and pleasant. A true focus on customer service. The room we booked was perfect. The decor could use a refresh, as the gray, black, and red tones lack vibrancy. The breakfast is very generous and complete. The homemade pudding is amazing!

Super spacious room with plenty of room to move around, even with a crib. Great view of Saumur Castle from the terrace! Very welcoming receptionist and a very good breakfast! Thank you ☺️

It's indeed a very nice Hotel in saumur. Located at the top of the hill with a nice view. The rooms are good but there's no elevator, the service is good but there's no one after midnight. The pool is great and the restaurant is great. Enjoy...

Thank you for a very pleasant stay. The staff were fantastic, a wonderful team. The restaurant was beautifully presented and delicious, both in the evening and the morning. A big thank you, we will gladly return.

We booked a room with a terrace for one night and ate at the restaurant. It was simply superb. From the moment we arrived until we got to our room, everything was spotless. Thank you to all the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant (especially the restaurant manager 😉). They were all smiling and attentive. Yan Camille

Fantastic hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff! Comfortable and peaceful, we had a very relaxing weekend. A bonus was the Nordic bath and sauna with a view of Saumur and its castle. The dog-friendly welcome was perfect; dogs were allowed everywhere, which was a real plus! And let's not forget the restaurant, where everything is excellent and the view is incredible! Keep up the good work! The waiters are wonderful and helpful 😊 See you soon!

We received a very warm welcome both upon arrival and departure. We were shown the common areas and how breakfast and dinner work, as well as the spa, the hammam, which you can book, and the jacuzzi, which is located outside. We only had a 1-hour reservation, and perhaps it was written down and we hadn't noticed, but during the last half hour, other people arrived in the hammam, so we decided to go outside for the jacuzzi, so I don't think you're 100% alone or with yourselves during this time. The view is very nice from the outside. You're not far from Saumur, but at the same time, it's very quiet and relaxing. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. Even the restaurant staff were very pleasant, as was the lady who took care of breakfast in the morning. Honestly, I recommend it; it was very nice and relaxing.

11/03/2026: We had lunch with our family yesterday at this restaurant, and it was a wonderful discovery! Street parking isn't always easy, but that's completely beyond the restaurant's control. The dining room is extremely pleasant, tastefully decorated in a modern and welcoming style. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was very friendly and professional. Everything looked impeccable and spotless, which was much appreciated. The service was perfect, attentive without being intrusive, with genuine care for the customers. The dishes were beautifully presented and, above all, delicious: excellent flavors, elegant presentation, and clearly high-quality ingredients. In my opinion, the menu offers excellent value for money. However, one thing was a real problem for us: a diabetic was at our table, and no sugar-free drinks were offered, neither as an aperitif nor during the meal. No zero-calorie soda, no sugar-free iced tea, or any suitable alternative. This person therefore had no choice but to drink only water from the beginning to the end of the meal, which is quite unfortunate nowadays when these options have become so common and important to some people. This really needs to be reconsidered so that all customers can fully enjoy the experience. Despite this, it was a very nice experience that we highly recommend.

15/02/2026: Easy booking, a warm welcome, and a varied menu (the sea bass fillet with baby vegetables is delicious). The glass of sparkling wine is also generous, and the wines are reasonably priced! Everything is clearly prepared by the chef with meticulous care and a real passion for food; it's a true delight! Thank you, we'll be back soon!
07/12/2025: A very pleasant setting with a view of the castle. Impeccable customer service, simply incredible cuisine 😍. A small menu, but everything is handmade. A true delight and a feast for the taste buds! A must-visit in Saumur!
