A wonderful discovery! The welcome was truly excellent and attentive. We had a lovely time in a beautiful setting and both children and adults thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The price-quality ratio seems very favorable to us, especially compared to prices in our area. It's a real restaurant with its own identity. A restaurant that hasn't taken the easy route of "doing what everyone else does." In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Atmospheric setting. Delicious food prepared by local experts. We would have liked a dessert from the lunch menu in the evening, and they arranged it with a smile. Highly recommended.

We dined at Les Trois Marchands during the weekend of the Cheverny Castle plant festival. We received a warm welcome...perhaps too warm, and with a certain familiarity that seemed out of place. Not being pretentious or haughty by nature, we weren't at all offended, but it might raise a few eyebrows (teasing about baldness and wrinkles!). It was a gift, so we had the €32 set menu. And therefore, we didn't have a choice of what we were going to eat. I checked the website to see what it would be like. It listed a lentil velouté with truffles, beef cheek, and crème brûlée. Well, it was nothing like that; it was something else entirely. We had calf's head as a starter, followed by a chicken ballotine with rice, and chocolate mousse for dessert. The calf's head was very delicate and refined. I usually eat it plain, in the traditional way, but this was truly a gourmet dish that delighted my taste buds. My wife, who almost gags when she sees me eating it, nevertheless enjoyed her plate despite her initial reluctance! The poultry that followed, with its timbale of pan-fried rice and leek compote, was very pleasant on the palate, a lovely little dish. We were kindly offered a red Bordeaux wine to accompany our local cheeses, which could have benefited from further aging, but were overall of good quality. The chocolate mousse, without any frills, was extremely generous, and the chef hadn't skimped on either the chocolate or the butter. Perfectly executed, it was a wonderful way to end the meal. The service was provided by three people. Our playful "receptionist," a discreet and efficient young waiter, and a slightly overwhelmed "senior" waitress (I think she was brought in as extra help) – in any case, kudos for hiring older staff! All in all, a very pleasant time spent in this lovely establishment.

Everything was delicious, the foie gras and sweetbreads were excellent. And to top it all off, thank you to the waiter… he gave great advice and was very pleasant. I'll be back.
