Saint Hubert sur Cour-Cheverny

The young lady who looked after us was certainly the owner. She gave us a very warm welcome. However, a young man, around thirty years old, was completely unmotivated to work, unfriendly, and not very smiley. We had chosen a hotel with an elevator specifically because of our minor health issues. It was out of order. Unfortunately, these things happen, but to make matters worse, the TV wasn't working either. So, this was more of a mediocre establishment, more like a two-star than a three-star.

Very comfortable bedding, generous breakfast, and meals excellent value for money. We received a very warm welcome from the woman who greeted us and prepared breakfast.

It's always a pleasure to stop by or stay at the Hôtel Restaurant du Saint Hubert, thanks to the warm welcome, helpfulness, and kindness of the staff, the homemade cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients, the generous and hearty portions, and always excellent value for money. We had dinner, so I can't rate the rooms. It was delicious, I'd definitely go back, and the price was reasonable.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Château de Cheverny. It boasts a pleasant exterior view that invites you inside; the staff then welcomes you warmly. The decor is typical: trombones and guitars adorn the restaurant walls. The space with a fireplace expresses a blend of rustic charm and modernity. The room is old-fashioned (cast-iron radiator), but it has been nicely renovated and is clean. It is spacious and equipped with free Wi-Fi and a television. The bathroom is spotless. Room rates start at €77. In the morning, a buffet awaits you with... A breakfast featuring a variety of generous dishes. Lunch and dinner are also available. This gourmet restaurant offers four set menus in addition to its à la carte menu. Set menus range from €25 to €40; naturally, if you indulge in a Romanée-Conti, expect to pay more. Lunch is served from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and dinner from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The restaurant offers hearty and delicious dishes, and the eclectic breakfast is a prime example. The staff is very friendly. In summer, the restaurant has two terraces. Secure and free parking is available. Nearby activities include: Cheverny Castle and its hunting lodge.
