A mythical, exceptional sole (a little expensive qd mm despite the exceptional.. 60€) which barely overshadows the other tasty dishes, it is in Normandy and the cream flows generously...hummm
We have been to this restaurant several times now and we are never disappointed. The fish soup is excellent and the mussels in cream are divine, supported by a cream with an incomparable taste. Don't forget to treat yourself to the superb crème brûlée either. The old-fashioned charm of the place adds, in my opinion, an extremely authentic and warm note. So yes, the place is cramped and the tables are close together, but let yourself be carried away by the atmosphere of the restaurant and you will not find any disadvantages! The ballet of the waiters, as efficient as they are pleasant, is also worth highlighting...
It’s a friendly mess between customers begging for a table, waiters circulating between tables and seated clients asking for something… but once seated you will enjoy the mussels ( I personally prefer the mussels à la crème) and for starters go for the seafood platter with oysters and crab and bulots … Aperol spritz are great, then switch for a muscadet white wine or rosé de Provence . Booking is wiser ….
