Les Vergers Tellier sur Le Quesnoy

We dined at Tellier as a group (8 people). The food was generally good, but several things significantly marred the experience. First, a strong smell of bleach bothered us during the meal, due to the tables being cleaned with a spray while customers were eating. This was frankly unpleasant and inappropriate. Second, the menu was unclear: there was no new printed menu, making it difficult to understand what was actually on offer. The service was also complicated: the dishes arrived without the wines being served, which detracted from the overall experience. Speaking of the wine, it was served far too cold (around 4°C). When we pointed this out, the response was rather unpleasant, with a dismissive "that's how it's served here," whereas a Bourgueil is normally served at around 14°C. Finally, there was a significant error on the bill, with approximately €65 too much for our group, which is hardly acceptable. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is there, but all these points together leave a negative impression.

We enjoyed the guest rooms located above the Vergers Tellier shop. The rooms were very spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. This is our second visit, and we're delighted as always. In addition, there's a large room at the back that serves as a bar and overlooks the orchards – a perfect place to spend some time.

Great for finding local products in the shop. I had a gift basket made up there at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly. You can also eat or just have a drink on the terrace overlooking the orchards or inside.

I had the opportunity to discover this place at a friend's wedding last summer. I loved the area with its inflatable games for children. The food is excellent, and it's wonderful to have an on-site shop where you can buy delicious products from the North! I highly recommend it.

You can buy fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile!

We stayed 2 nights in a bed and breakfast at Vergers Tellier, a very nice room, a hearty breakfast and to top it off a very warm welcome, it is an address to recommend.

A very good shop, with quality, locally sourced products. The only downside: the prices; the products are expensive. The bar is decent, with good service.

Great selection of drinks, local fruits... Every time I'm in this region, I stock up on apple juice. 🧃
