We came as a family (my husband, my two children, and of course myself). We ate very well, the mussels and fries were very good, as well as the charcuterie platter, which was very generous. 😃😃 We hope to be able to return before the end of our vacation 🤗🤗

On vacation in Royan, we stopped at this restaurant and we were not disappointed: friendly welcome, excellent meal (mussels with gorgonzola sauce and cod with chorizo ​​sauce) with good portions. A special mention for the dessert 😁.

Very good meal, pleasant setting, only downside, I had a salad with smoked salmon and it was all cheese. I don't like cheese, so I asked if possible to have shrimp instead.... the waiter told me that it wasn't possible!!! I just asked for 2 or 3 shrimp! The price of the plate didn't change either! (I worked in a restaurant and I sometimes had to do this) disappointed as a result.

Very warm welcome. Very pleasant staff. However, the fried smelts had to be reheated because they weren't crispy at all and the aioli was industrial. And the strawberry Melba cup. Soft strawberries and lukewarm whipped cream. Really disappointed.

01/01/2026: Lopez!!! The best ice cream parlor in ALL of Royan!! We already knew that!!! And their ice cream logs are to die for!! That was a real discovery. We devoured the Sicilian log!
30/12/2025: We ordered two Yule logs for four people for Christmas, and what a surprise when we took one of them out of its packaging—it was broken! I checked to make sure I hadn't broken it during transport, but no, the broken piece wasn't even in the box. When we politely pointed it out to the saleswoman today, she didn't believe us until she saw the photo, and the only thing she could say was, "But we check them..." Apparently not that often. I'm not saying mistakes can happen, especially during the Christmas season when there are a lot of orders, but the broken piece not being in the box means it was broken as soon as it was packaged in the kitchen... And to top it all off, in addition to being condescending, the saleswoman didn't even apologize, which, given the price of the log (€21.90 for the four-person version, remember), would be the bare minimum... Lopez is a Royan institution, but it's a shame that some employees don't live up to the brand's standards. the company and this damages its image.

09/12/2025: Very disappointed. The service was sorely lacking; it was incredibly slow. Starters were served at the same time as those who only ordered a main course… a shame. Tables were reset (end of service), but not cleared… we waited ages. No coffee was offered. The waiter didn't know how to set the cutlery correctly. The food was good, but the presentation was mediocre; the salad in the starters was swimming in dressing. That's it…
