We stopped by to share a drink and some appetizers with friends, and it was very pleasant. A direct view of the pool would be amazing, but it's already taken 😂. Thank you for the kindness and warm welcome.

We had a wonderful time at L'Escale... Everything was perfect! The welcome (even our border collie was treated like royalty), the kindness of all the staff, and the excellent meal. These young people work hard with a smile and go above and beyond to make you happy! A huge thank you to the whole team, and especially to Ludivine and Sébastien! 🥰

The setting is great, but the food is mediocre; everything is overcooked—the fish, the meat, the fries. Only the baby squid was good. Considering they're not using top-quality ingredients and the prices are high, it's not that hard to make decent fries.

Top location and outstanding welcome and service! There were 12 of us and everyone was always smiling! The welcome for dinner or breakfast (while waiting for the boat) was remarkable.

I loved going to this restaurant every time I arrived at my house on the peninsula. I understand that reservations aren't possible. So I arrived at 11:30 am to a nearly empty restaurant to get a table by the water. This time, they wouldn't seat me because only two of the four of us had arrived. That's their procedure… But my procedure is to order an aperitif and wait for my guests to be seated. I then noticed that they had seated a couple alone at a table for four. I guess I'm not as important as they are. So I went to another restaurant and I recommend the one next door. It's such a shame.

Delicious lunch with a magnificent view of the bay and the Dune du Pilat, but all of that would be nothing without the superb service from Ludivine and Sébastien! Thank you to them for their friendliness and professionalism.

L'Arkeseon

21/07/2026: A very good place to eat; the dishes are delicious and generous. The owner is incredibly friendly, as are the servers, despite a bit of a wait (but the job requires training, which is understandable!). The location is perfect, opposite the oyster huts, and the menu is varied and caters to everyone, including children and vegetarians.
19/07/2026: The Arkeseon is an establishment located in the charming village of Lège-Cap-Ferret. The staff is welcoming, always available, and very professional. This creates a truly pleasant atmosphere and makes it easy to decide to return to this French restaurant, whether you choose to pay for tobacco or simply relax in its lovely bar area.
