Old-fashioned charm = cramped and very noisy. The meal was quite expensive for what it was. At least it was good.

Excellent main courses and appetizers!! Desserts too! Lovely service. Highly recommended.

We were treated like royalty, even though we were over 40, after a concert of Basque songs at the Saint Louis en L'Île church. Friendly staff, delicious homemade chicken, amazing chocolate mousse, wines from local producers, and very reasonable prices! We'll be back!!

This has always been my favorite place in Paris—for the old bar and the incredible view—but it’s just become my favorite place in the world. Chef Matt Robertson (Chez Panisse and Auberge de Chassignolles among many) is now heading the kitchen, and dining here feels like going over to a friend’s house for a meal: simple, honest food made with great ingredients. Dimitri, the owner, has made the place wonderfully cozy, with perfect lighting, great music, fresh flowers, real candles, smiles et all. The wine list has also greatly improved since the change of hands and I couldn’t be happier!

I only had one wine. It was delicious, very friendly service, a great wine bar, and a great café! My favorite bistro right on the Seine with a view of Notre Dame!

A friendly bar where the two banks meet and where the staff is friendly. You might bump into stars there, but you really feel that everyone is welcome, because like orchids, in the right conditions you can all shine!
