L'Escale sur Paris

Good meal and beautiful view of Saint Louis Island.

L'Escale is the kind of "Formica" café we love and that makes us feel comfortable. It's a place where you feel good. There's a warm, friendly atmosphere, conversations between neighbors and friendly tourists, and delicious dishes prepared by an English chef (I think), always of very high quality. The Sunday chicken is a real treat! In short, I'm a very happy neighbor! Well done for what you've done with this café; it's unlike any other in the neighborhood 🙏

Great atmosphere, but terrible expensive coktails. Don’t sell spicy Margaritas if you don’t know how to do them or please invest in decent bartenders. 16 euros for a stale and muddy flavor coktail served in a big glass for wine: never again.

Fantastic atmosphere in the very heart of Paris. The waitresses and waiters are top-notch. You can have drinks, chat with all the (beautiful) people, and dance if you feel like it. A great time is guaranteed. In short, it's life!

Old-fashioned charm = cramped and very noisy. The meal was quite expensive for what it was. At least it was good.

Authentic, delicious (it’s a café not a restaurant) and service super nice and welcoming!

We were treated like royalty, even though we were over 40, after a concert of Basque songs at the Saint Louis en L'Île church. Friendly staff, delicious homemade chicken, amazing chocolate mousse, wines from local producers, and very reasonable prices! We'll be back!!
