Great family-run restaurant. Fast service, friendly staff, and a really nice atmosphere.

A very good restaurant, however the portions are quite small. The food is very good, but you leave feeling a little hungry.

We had a wonderful meal at L’Escale restaurant in Port-Argelès-sur-Mer: the dishes were delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was a mixed bag: a rather unfriendly waitress at the beginning of our meal, but fortunately, an absolutely delightful waiter took over and made the end of our meal very pleasant thanks to his professionalism and kindness. The quality of the food more than deserves 5 stars, and we will gladly return, hoping for a slightly warmer welcome.

During our vacation, we had dinner at this restaurant. Regarding the aperitif, we ordered mojitos and didn't taste any alcohol. Also, don't expect to find any savory snacks; they're reserved for a few tables of regulars. For the children's menu, the portions are very small, just two small tenders and a tiny piece of fish. It was very good, but insufficient; we had to order another plate so my children could share (I should mention that they had been eating for four hours and are 5 and 7 years old). We were required to order a full children's menu with drinks and desserts because it wasn't possible to order just an extra plate. For the adults, the meal was good but not very generous. Avoid the butcher's cut, as it wasn't very tender. The cod was very good, but the side dish was half a potato, which was a bit meager. Finally, there was only one profiterole, a large scoop of ice cream, but the choux pastry was completely soggy. Therefore, I do not recommend this place, if this information is helpful to other tourists.
