Fantastic food, cocktails, views, service and ambience. We visit Carteret multiple times per year and always try to book into l’escale on every visit. Benoit and staff are very friendly and helpful

We came for a drink and had a very pleasant time with background music. The decor is beautiful and the view incredible. The waitress was lovely. I'll definitely go back.

18/08/2026: Great place for food and drinks 🍸
17/08/2026: We had a delicious meal here! Truly a chef who cooks with love. The salmon scramble and caramelized pork belly in soy sauce were absolutely finger-licking good. The service was friendly, despite the crowds. The spot by the harbor is beautiful, although we were facing a wall. But the atmosphere on the terrace was simply lovely. And, oh yes, the coffee gourmand for dessert is also highly recommended!
