A warm and welcoming family atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Ideally located opposite the train station, with the option to eat in and enjoy generous, high-quality dishes. The room was very pleasant, inviting, and clean. Excellent value for money, with a real home-away-from-home feel. I highly recommend it.

I stayed two nights at the hotel and also had dinner there. I rarely, if ever, stay in hotels near train stations because I don't always feel safe there, but this establishment is a clear exception. The hotel is right next to the train station, which is extremely convenient, and I didn't encounter any problems, even returning late after my meetings when it was already pitch black. I felt completely at ease there. I highly recommend L’Escale de la Gare: the staff is warm and attentive, the rooms are clean, and the food is homemade—a real bonus!

Everything about this establishment is excellent: impeccable service, a location very close to tourist attractions, the city center, and of course the train station, exceptional service (spacious, very well-equipped room with beds made between nights), and generous, homemade meals (just one small suggestion: the pre-packaged jam could be replaced with homemade jam – that would be the icing on the cake!). Despite the lack of private parking, we had no trouble finding street parking and felt completely confident. Highly recommended at a very reasonable price.

Really very friendly, a large, very comfortable, quiet room and very charming and kind staff. There is a pizzeria which is part of the hotel, very convenient station parking just opposite, paying during the day. It is a very good value for money hotel.
