The perfect hotel if you're looking for a friendly, family atmosphere. The location opposite the train station doesn't detract from the hotel's tranquility at all. The room I stayed in was very clean and the bedding was impeccable. The staff is incredibly attentive and you immediately feel at ease. The breakfast is perfect. This is my second stay here, and I'm planning a third. Thank you!

We booked a room for the evening of a public holiday by email. Arriving around 9 pm, we found the door locked and no one answered. We had to contact the bar owned by the same person so they could get in touch with the hotel and someone could come and let us in (the hotel had made a mistake with the date for our reservation and hadn't sent us the access codes). Apart from this stressful situation, there was nothing to report; the rooms were nice and the breakfast was good. The location, right opposite the train station, is very convenient.

A very nice hotel. A warm and always attentive welcome for guests. The restaurant was very good, as were the breakfasts, which were quite generous. Excellent value for money.

Large, functional apartment. Large, comfortable bed. The apartment was fully equipped; nothing was missing. Conveniently located near the train station. The staff is very friendly. Good breakfast. Good, generous portions of food.

This is a very good hotel for the price. The welcome was warm, the room very clean, and the breakfast included croissants and fresh bread. Ideal for a stopover. We will definitely choose this hotel again for Saumur and the surrounding area.

Very nice little hotel across from the train station. The rooms are small, typically French, but well-maintained with new furnishings in warm colors. The bathroom is small, but modern and functional. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The price was excellent. Even though it faces the station and the street, the room was quiet and there were no outside noises. I also tried their restaurant, and the food was excellent, featuring many Italian products. The pizza was superb!! And that's coming from an Italian!

27/12/2025: I had a really excellent meal. It was truly delicious. The setting was pleasant and unpretentious. The owner, despite his somewhat gruff manner, is very friendly. I don't know many restaurants in Saumur that offer a complimentary glass of champagne at the end of the meal after you've paid the bill. I don't understand the overwhelmingly negative reviews. To dare to say it's not good, that it's frozen food, etc., etc... simply untrue. We arrived as a party of five and were warmly welcomed, as were all the other customers who arrived later. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed every course, and our plates were returned empty to the kitchen.
