La nourriture est parfaite, copieuse & fraiche. Nous avons testé la plancha de la mer & les moules au roquefort, c'était un régal. Pour les gros mangeurs il y'a un baba au rhum version XXL à tomber. Le personnel est souriant & très agréable. Le cadre est très joli & l'addition reste vraiment raisonnable quand on voit la quantité & la qualité des mets. On y retourne bientôt :)

An excellent time at L’Escale du Sud in Hyères! The mussels and fries were delicious, perfectly seasoned and generously served. The place is calm and charming, ideal for a peaceful meal. Special mention for the service, which was very pleasant and attentive from start to finish. I highly recommend!

We were walking around looking for a good mussel dish, and we passed by the Escale du Sud.
As usual we look at the reviews on Google. Given the rather negative reviews we were perplexed.
We said to ourselves: people are bitter, the restaurant seems rather nice ("nothing tried, nothing gained").
The intuition was good, the staff were very helpful and very pleasant. We were shocked at the speed, in actually 5 minutes we were served even though the restaurant was full.
The mussels and fries were delicious and generous portions!
Don't take the negative comments into account, this restaurant is just GREAT if you're looking for a good mussel ;)

Very good restaurant, mussels and fries with Roquefort sauce, excellent and homemade fries. The beef skewers are also good. Béa puts her heart into cooking and it shows. The prices are reasonable, but remember to book because the restaurant is very small. We went there without booking and were lucky enough to get a table, the only downside this day was that it was very hot so difficult to bear inside but we will come back one evening next year.

We loved it, the waiters and the owner are very welcoming, the mussels and the sauce are delicious, not to mention the Nutella ice cream, a real treat, we will definitely come back 🥰

Great discovery for this evening, delicious mussels and fries with Rochefort, homemade Belgian fries! A treat!
For dessert: chocolate fondant, delicious too.
I don't understand why the Google rating for this restaurant isn't higher, you really shouldn't trust it.
The staff is adorable and attentive, the dishes are homemade and generous!
We will come back for sure.

Excellent restaurant, the mussels, fries, fried foods, and desserts are excellent and generous. The friendly welcome.
We will return there regularly.
I advise you to book in the middle of summer.

Petit restaurant (par le nombre de couvert) mais grand par la qualité des moules proposées.
De belles grosses moules cuites parfaitement avec une sauce crème épaisse ( il ne reste pas Uz de l eau blanchie à la fin).
Des frites maison délicieuses et un service de la patronne au petit oignons
Enfin un prix on ne peut plus raisonnable sur le port de Hyères
