A cozy place where you feel right at home. A very warm welcome; despite the crowd, they found us a table. Arriving at 1:30 pm on a Saturday, the daily special was no longer available, but the andouillette sausage and homemade fries were delicious… We'll come earlier next time! 😂

The welcome was fantastic! We went up a flight of stairs (I was relieved, I hadn't come to the wrong restaurant 😂) and there it was: soft lighting, a cozy room, delicious food, and a waitress/owner with a contagious smile! My friends and I stayed for 45 minutes after coffee without ever feeling like we were intruding. It's simple, we felt right at home!

Great restaurant! The staff managed to find us a table despite the restaurant being full. The food is excellent. Since I had a hand injury, the waiter took the initiative to ask for the fillets of the sea bream to be removed.

Saturday night with friends of a certain age, booked in advance: Pleasant and friendly service, reasonably quick, no particular complaints. As for the food, many things are homemade, starting with the fries; they're good, well-presented... and reasonably priced. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

A pleasant surprise, original and very tasty dishes. The photo shows the vegetarian dish, with crozets prepared like a risotto and vegetables. A small suggestion for the manager: please allow a little more time between courses and aperitifs. The service felt rushed, as if they were just trying to clear the table. We had a reservation for 7 pm.

The setting is lovely, with a grand old staircase dominating the center of the restaurant. The menu features bistro-style dishes (pork chop, rib-eye steak, duck breast, andouillette sausage, ice cream, crème brûlée, etc.). Prices are reasonable and the service is quick. I ordered a pink pork chop. It was more raw than pink along much of the chop… the fries were good but rather small. The dessert was more disappointing. I ordered a streusel shortbread that was dry and lacked the true cinnamon and hazelnut flavors one would expect from this Alsatian classic. The wine list is extensive, and the wines by the glass are affordable (around €4-5).

12/02/2026: As soon as you enter Les Palets Or, you're greeted by colors, smells, and deliciousness. And what can I say about the photos on the web that showcase the beauty of the creations? The photos are stunning and make you want to come and eat everything in the shop. Bravo to the person who took the photos! If you're passing through Orleans, Les Palets Or is an address not to be missed.

06/03/2026: We were looking for a traditional restaurant in Orléans for a good meal, and this place caught our eye. Upon arrival, we loved the bistro atmosphere with the wine racks cleverly integrated into the decor at the back of the room. The food is generous and homemade. I chose the crispy calf's head, followed by the rabbit. It's a rare treat to find this kind of meat in a restaurant! The menu offers traditional dishes such as pan-fried kidneys, pork cheek with prunes, or beef with red wine sauce. The owner is a true enthusiast who knows his wine cellar inside and out: let him guide you, as his recommendations are excellent. The setting is warm and inviting, and the service is pleasant and friendly. A very good restaurant in Orléans, which makes you want to come back to try the rest of the menu!
01/03/2026: Look at these wonderful dishes! We ate there last night (at the Orleans and Angers tables). Everything was perfect. The service, the quality of the ingredients, the taste—it was all top-notch. The owner was very kind before we left. Thank you so much for this wonderful first experience at your restaurant.
