A warm welcome, a generous and refined meal. I highly recommend it; superb value for money. We loved it and we will be back.

Third visit to L’Escapade Gourmande after trying two menus, including the most recent one. It's simply exquisite. The meats are expertly prepared, as are the sauces, vegetables, and seasoning. The dishes are varied and complete, with a three-course menu (starter, main, cheese, and dessert) offered at an unbeatable price in Bar-le-Duc. The restaurant is very clean and well-located. While its size might initially seem intimidating in terms of noise and atmosphere, once inside, you'll find yourself in a calm and welcoming place. The clientele reflects the restaurant's character: welcoming. As for the staff, we appreciated the service and the overall friendliness. You feel right at home and comfortable, with, of course, the proper etiquette and courtesy.
