No reviews on the rooms, I didn't sleep there. But what a great idea for lunch at L’escapade! Good welcome, good food, good dishes pleasantly served by a delightful host. Several formulas are offered including a bistro formula perfectly suited to fine palates and small budgets.
Here is an address to keep. We will not forget to stop at this inn if by chance fate leads us to cross Carentan when it's time to eat.

Arriving at 2:00 p.m. in Carentan, we were looking for a restaurant for lunch, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, which was not easy given the time.
The food was very good and very good value for money.

Small, very friendly town hotel/restaurant, ideal if you want to discover Norman cuisine. Very good dishes, well presented and plentiful. The service is very pleasant with a man who loves his work. On the other hand, in my opinion it is a real shame to find a restaurant with so much potential that is so unhygienic. The wallpaper that is peeling off, the ceiling and the wood that is crumbling, the burlap on top of the carpet, a poorly maintained parquet floor, cobwebs everywhere, toilets that do not close with urine in the ground...
Too bad.
