05/08/2026: Delighted to have discovered this restaurant! "Simple" dishes, but perfectly cooked. Delicious, a pretty cool atmosphere but with a classy and elegant decor. A very professional team.
03/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal with a group of six friends.
The terrace was packed, but we were served quickly. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

11/08/2026: My sister and I went there last night for our last evening in Carentan.
It was tricky finding a restaurant that served mussels and fries, and then Les Ponts d'Ouve appeared on our route.
We were delighted, definitely not disappointed, and I highly recommend it. The food is classic but generous and, above all, delicious! The service was top-notch, run by young people, which I think is great, and they're fantastic. The owner is very pleasant too. However, don't order an afternoon snack if you go in the evening because the portions are so generous, but excellent!
When we're back in the area for our next vacation, we'll definitely go back!

It was loaded with plenty of chocolate, just the right amount. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. I recommend it.

15/06/2026: What we chose was very good (Caesar salad and steak tartare), but we almost left before the food arrived... our lunch was ruined by the discovery of a dead mouse under the table near ours. The "owner" quickly swept it away with a broom, without cleaning the floor... questions arise: is there rat poison in the kitchens? How often is the (complete) cleaning done?
13/06/2026: It was very good, but the dead mouse under the next table was something we could have done without, especially since it was simply picked up without the floor being cleaned. Later, a couple was seated at that same table with the mouse tracks still visible… perhaps the floor hadn't been cleaned in a long time, which is why it was other customers who noticed it.

22/07/2026: I drove all the way here just to see it. A must-see for Band of Brothers fans...
07/04/2026: It was a must-see in town because of the history of the place, especially if you've seen the series "Band of Brothers." The service was excellent; we were attended to immediately. The atmosphere was interesting; several people were watching a horse race with great enthusiasm. It's a shame that there's hardly any information about the history of the place in the shop. I think they should promote it more; all I saw were lottery tickets and various flags from different countries, seemingly out of place. I hope they change that.

09/06/2026: I've been staying in hotels every day for nine years and I've never seen anything like it. The room wasn't clean, the walls were stained everywhere, the towel warmer was rusty, and the light fixture was hanging off the ceiling. I arrived at 6:30 PM and waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came. Even when you're first in the breakfast room, there are crumbs on the table that must have been there the day before. Paying €128 for a night's stay for this is a disgrace.

09/05/2026: Nice hygiene report published in the local press! Administrative closure is outrageous; it's a disgrace to see such things in your establishment's kitchens.

27/11/2025: Everything worked, but the whole facility is neglected and not very clean.
02/10/2025: The car wash floor (rollers) is very slippery because it's full of mud.
Very rarely cleaned.
It's dangerous.
This lack of maintenance is a shame.
