18/04/2026: One of the best restaurants in the area! Lovely place, friendly staff and delicious food. I can definitely recommend calling them to reserve a table as it can get quite busy.
14/04/2026: Friendly staff but very (too) slow service; we were there for 2 hours and 15 minutes for a main course and dessert for six people... The food was very good, unfortunately marred by the wait. The setting by the water is very pleasant. I recommend it, but don't be in a hurry. 👍

04/03/2026: Lunch today for my birthday. The terrace was lovely on this beautiful sunny day. The welcome was very friendly, and they accepted our small dog. The meal was beautifully presented: starter, main course, vegetables, and dessert—all very good. Coffee and a bottle of excellent local cider were included for a small price. A little restaurant just the way we like them. We'll be back.
10/02/2026: I was surprised by this establishment's payment policy. The Coke Zero I ordered cost €3, but I was forced to pay €5 because I was paying by card. I didn't have any cash on me, and the minimum card payment wasn't clearly displayed before I placed my order. This is illegal and has been reported to SignalConso.

09/04/2026: A very nice restaurant, the owner is fantastic, a true professional. I had a seafood casserole, a piece of beef with pepper sauce and dauphinoise potatoes, and finally, a blueberry bavarois. Very good, high quality, and beautifully presented, all in a pleasant setting. I highly recommend it.

Atmosphere was comfortable and staff were very kind.
Rooms are a bit dated but beds were comfortable and everything was very clean.

16/03/2026: This is a very important stop on your Band of Brothers tour of Europe.
In June of 1944, when the 506th PIR assaulted the town of Carentan, Easy Company approached the town from the south. As they neared this cafe, they came under fire from German MGs nearby.
Across the street is a pharmacy. It was a pharmacy back in 1944 too. Some of the Easy Company men took shelter behind it.
If you’re walking the footsteps of the Band of Brothers, make sure your route takes you by this cafe. If you’re hungry or thirsty, you might consider stopping inside for some refreshment.

27/11/2025: Everything worked, but the whole facility is neglected and not very clean.
02/10/2025: The car wash floor (rollers) is very slippery because it's full of mud.
Very rarely cleaned.
It's dangerous.
This lack of maintenance is a shame.
