L'Escargot sur Arpajon

Discovered at the bean fair, I hadn't made a reservation and they kindly found us a table for two. The staff is pleasant and available despite the crowds there were. The meal was good and delicious (visually too). If you go to Arpajon, I highly recommend it. I will come back to discover their menu, special fair menu when I go there.

Friday the 13th in the middle of the Arpajon fair, L'Ardoise had thought big, dinner with a reserved table under awnings outside, we hesitated between taking off the jacket or keeping it on because we were far from the summer evenings. For the meal we were a little disappointed, apart from the foie gras as a starter although we had eaten tastier the last few times, the rest was worthy of a fair stand, the pork was too dry and tasteless, just lukewarm, little to no sauce, served with white beans, slightly tasty but arriving at the table cold, we had to ask again to reheat the plate. So out of the 3 people we were alone, my daughter had a great time but she didn't have the pig. I was expecting a pork cooked over a wood fire, I was disappointed. So in summary, in terms of value for money, the pork dish should have been closer to €16 than €22.50. Finality we enjoyed the foie gras, the champagne and the wine. But that’s already it, you would tell me. On the other hand, the service was impeccable, the 3 young people provided

Very good quality cuisine, attentive servers

We had a great time in this restaurant, everything was very good and refined, including the presentation of the dishes from starter to dessert. Great value for money!!

Good evening everyone ! I'm annoyed because 5 stars are well deserved, and at the same time, I could have so much to say!. A magnificent table, with a human restaurant manager. Listening, with extraordinary sympathy, which makes you smile! But that's not all! ZOE! what a little woman! A waitress with devastating kindness, exceptional attentiveness! You can increase it! I say that I say nothing, even if I wish you all the success in naturopathy! But wow what a lesson!! I do a lot of restaurant work, I work with different sites or structures but here, I'm going to talk about people... Simple, user-friendly. Quality... it's not a challenge to eat at the restaurant, it's a joy to eat at the slate! As said, I assume it, enjoyable! I could write a novel, but no... go ahead, try, it's the only way to understand all the emotion I feel! In a word THANK YOU ! And above all, see you soon! I'm won over, I travel rarely, but I'm ready to go after my dreams! Well done ! Go there, many successes guaranteed!!

3 stars for the kitchen, because the prices are not worth some products. The presentation is very well done but sometimes the foods have no taste (like the tomatoes). 3 stars for the service, because the tablecloths were stained in three different places on a table of 5, for a well-rated restaurant this is very limited. As if the tablecloths hadn't been changed for a few weeks. On the other hand, the servers were impeccable. We were well received and well served. 4 stars for the atmosphere, because everything was good, quiet location, restaurant not too noisy, and nice decor. But it's not exceptional either, so one star less.

Beautiful, friendly and quiet terrace. This restaurant offers an original menu and delicious dishes, and the service is provided by elegant and attentive staff. I recommend!
