We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, which has a very pleasant dining room. The cuisine was refined and generous, featuring excellent local produce, beautifully presented dishes, and very friendly service. We will be back!

A wonderful little gourmet restaurant, somewhat hidden away in the market square in La Châtre. Very professional. I had a fantastic risotto followed by a homemade crumble.

We went to lunch at L'Escargot this Sunday and it was fantastic from start to finish. Excellent service, all the dishes were excellent, and the wine was excellent. Highly recommended.

A very warm welcome, a lovely, intimate atmosphere perfect for lunch.
The food is excellent and plentiful.
We brought our dog, who was welcome.
