L'escargot sur La Chatre

We went to lunch at L'Escargot this Sunday and it was fantastic from start to finish. Excellent service, all the dishes were excellent, and the wine was excellent. Highly recommended.

After visiting George Sand's house, a wonderful culinary discovery. Traditional French cuisine, foie gras, sweetbreads, etc. In a peaceful, clean setting, with warm, impeccable service. A wonderful time.

My wife and I were spending the weekend at Domaine des Dryades and we went to eat at the Auberge de l'Escargot, which is excellent, with different menus and choices (everything is very good). If you're passing through, I strongly recommend booking a table to enjoy all the flavors of the region.

Refined cuisine, elegant and warm service, a hushed atmosphere in a place with a unique history (George Sand's mother stayed here) – everything is in place for a truly unforgettable evening! I highly recommend the foie gras ice cream, which is simply heavenly!
